Beng Hiang has a long history (established in 1978) and specializes in Hokkien cuisine. It is one of the most popular Hokkien restaurants in Singapore, due to its good food and reasonable prices. Youd be totally spoilt for choice by the sheer expanse of the menu, and bowled over by the authenticity of dishes at Beng Hiang Restaurant. Start off with a bowl of Savoury Fish Maw Soup, which sooths the stomach and prepares your palate for more sumptuous dishes. The Steamed Bread with Braised Brisket is very tasty and tender, and a delight to savour especially when you take the bread and dip it into the delicious sauce. The lovely dessert of Yam Paste is not too sweet or too heavy, and serves as a good round off to your meal.
