Swensen’s came to Singapore in 1979, delighted tastebuds with a 200-seater restaurant at Thomson Plaza. Since then, it has won the hearts of many with delicious ice cream sundaes in a warm, unpretentious ambience and a casual atmosphere. Friends and family meet in the cozy and comfortable booth seats with trademark tiffany lamps for relaxing meals or to celebrate special occasions.
Swensen’s has developed over the years to become a restaurant chain offering not only ice cream, but fun and friendly casual-dining with a wide selection of hearty food, desserts, beverages, ice cream cakes and takeaway novelties.
The latest of Swensen’s restaurant is a new concept restaurant called “Earle Swensen’s”, named after the ice cream chain’s founder. The new restaurant retains some of the old Swensen’s favourites such as its burgers, fish and chips, and the classic ice cream creations. But it has added more to its menu, such as seafood, prime beef steaks and even a full-fledged salad bar. Earle Swensen’s is certified halal, so no alcohol in food preparation.
