Teochew City Seafood Restaurant is famous for its fine selection of Teochew & Cantonese cuisine. One of the pioneers in Teochew fine dining in Singapore, Teochew City Seafood Restaurant offers all the traditional goodness of a Teochew kitchen in a quiet elegant setting with its tastefully decorated interior, combining contemporary feel with traditional Chinese art.

Here, the menu features classic favourites like Teochew Cold Crabs, where the crustaceans are steamed and then chilled. Eaten with sweet lemon sauce, it complements the natural sweetness of fresh crabs. And what is Teochew food without the much beloved Braised Goose, where the meat is stewed over a slow heat in a concoction of soy sauce and spices to allow the goose to soak up all the flavours. To end off, try the Yam Paste with Gingko Nuts, where the hearty flavour of taro is transformed into a smooth sweet paste that melts in the mouth. This is surely a traditional Teochew dessert not to be missed.

Not only touted as one of the top Teochew dining places, the restaurant is also famous for its fine selection of Cantonese cuisine. Try the restaurant’s special dish - Spare Ribs with Barbecue Sauce. Served with Deep-Fried Mantou, or Chinese buns, the pork is fried to the right degree of tenderness and succulence, and braised in a piquant plum-based sauce. So delicious, it is not uncommon to see diners mopping it up with the bun. For the health conscious, there is always the Pan-fried Beancurd with Conpoy that is just as tasty.
