To begin with, Imperial Treasure group is a rather new chain of restaurants that according to many is competing head-on with the Crystal Jade group, with very similar concept and locations, while menu items are generally priced slightly lower.

Within a short period of time, they have garnered lots of praises, including serving food that are both fantastic in taste and health.

Try the Double Boiled Shark's Bone & Bamboo Pith with Gingko Nut & Fish Maw in Soup. Just as tempting is the Saute Scallop with White Egg and Truffle Oil, which is skilfully sauted to bring out the delicate taste of fresh scallops, with a light touch of truffle oil for an exotic taste.

i would like to feedback on my dinning experience with Imperial treasure nan bei at ngee ann city on 29 June 2008.
i was there with my friends for lunch, everything went well however at about 2pm 1 of the service staff her name is Ivy came over and said to us bluntly "your are here for very long already, almost an hour over the time set for you" all of us were shock as we are not aware what is going on and she did not even explain properly. her attitude was just rude. according to her, she told my friend that we are only allow to have the table till 1.15pm when she made the reservation. and Ivy said that she told my friend again when she bring her in to the table, which my friend said Ivy was not the one bringing her to the table.
i mean we are fine that we got to leave at 1.15pm. we are just very upset and angry the way Ivy spoke to us. not even with an excuse me and when we feedback to her that her attitude was rude, she refuse to apologise and thinks that her attitude was fine. and she only apologise when my friend ask her for her name.
to consumer we are not unreasonable, if she explain to us nicely we will be happy to settle bill and give up the table. is really how the service staff put across to customer.
example: "excuse me, we are having a lot of customer queueing outside, are your done yet? if yes will you mind to settle the bill?"
is just an example on how she can put it across in an other nicer manner.
Ivy was wearing a grey uniform and i believe she is not the normal service staff there, she is with certain rank and yet she does not even have the basic manners and courtesy when she speak to customers.
imperial nan bei is a restaurant and we are paying for the food and serivce.
customer will expect the basic at least. i can say she is just rude.
what i can say is i will not ever visit this restaurant again.

regarding to the "Ivy happening" i think you should tell the management side Becasue nowaday in singapore we can knew that more of the worker come from china and their knowledge of manner is limited company. so if you tell the management they will sure do something on it.
And most of them is contract worker so they don't really take work seriouly. i did have this happening before at the same restaurants .
so now i only go to the "teochew" side and eat.Anyway is a human mistaken not the restaurant. We just go for the food, service can be improve.

I had such experience as well, but was made clear before we enter. She allow us 1hr plus for meal asking if I am okay with it. Beacuse we did not made any reservation. Usually only 2 ple dine with me or me and my mom, 1.5hr is more then enough so I didn make alot of extra noise abt it. But here it seemed, they are doing this to alot of ple. Would suggest somebody feedback to manangement. Rather rude ..
