The Food Adventure Guide: Where To Eat In Singapore
Australia cuisine is hard to come by here. So it was a pleasant surprise to find out that this hip dining place at Paradiz Center is serving Aussie food with the same touch of friendliness that Australians have.
The story goes that the restaurant owner, Jack who have stayed in Australia for some years, decided to bring the Aussie cuisine back to Singapore. The food range is not particularly special, there are steaks & burgers & chips. But it is how each of them is made so well that makes it so impressive. The price has been keep quite affordable, and by attaining HALAL status, ensuring that anyone can enjoy it.
One must try is the Blue Mountain Burger ($9.90), the highest burger in town. It contains juicy chicken patty that melts is your mouth, tomatoes and pineapples that adds in sweetness and freshness, and layers of cheese.
Try also the tiraMADsu ($4.50). Just like how they play with the name, this is actually a Halal version of the tiramisu, with no alcohol added but without anything feel lacking.
For health junkies, it will be nice to know that all the food here are prepared withou MSG, tenderizer or artificial flavouring. Get some of Dr Juice ($4) concoctions, including “Detox Agent”, “Weight Watcher”, and “Sports Energy Booster”.

My bf and I had dinner recently at the Selegie outlet.
The food was OK and not that fantastic, based on the price and type of restaurant, I rate it 1/5. The worker who served us looks so tired that there was not any smile or lights beaming from his face. Talking about service, no “touch of friendliness that Australians have”.

Now, Now..now!! Stop being a Singaporean – whining all the time bout no service and not giving credit when due!!
Think bout it, U had Dinner there….!
The poor waiter must’ve been slogging the whole day or coevrin somebody else’s shift or so….
Dinner is later part of time to the Day and naturally, he must’ve been worn out!!
Other’s did compliment, remember!!
Tallest Burger or Blue Mountain Chicken Burger is nice, right??
Tiramadsu..feeling good!! Right??
If U don’t like it, don’t go!! Don’t need to comment bad bout others!! Get on with Your Life!!

love the fact the food is up to standard and the prices are reasonable. bad thing is never try to take away ONE slice of cake cos the waiter will place the nicely cut cake into this puny triangular plastic container and the cake ended up squashed..

I visited Mad Jack at Selegie outlet 3 times. Today will be my 4th time. So far, I had a good experience there. Except for today.
I just called them up to make a reservation for my mum’s birthday. It was a ldy who picked up my call and I am very sure she’s Malay.
She sounded extremely rude. I hope the management could do something about this. or get the staff to go for Soft Skills trainings.
