If you wonder why French restaurants here are always so expensive, well, they actually aren’t. Andre Wine & Dine in Telok Ayer Street is among the more moderately priced. It offers decent cooking without blowing a hole in your pocket.
In line with its name, Andre Wine & Dine is an ideal place to hang loose while sipping a few glasses of wine. Apart from the impressive collection of exquisite wines, the restaurant also whips up a decent menu of authentic French fare.

Not bad, but I prefer “Le Pont de Vie” at 26 Kandahar street. Their food is really delicious and matched with fine wines. I can recommend the cheese trouffle souffle and the veal cutlet. Deserts are scrumptious too and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg like many Euprena restaurants in Singapore do.
