In a humble beginning, Chen Fu Ji was started by the two Chan sisters in a run-down coffee shop, cooking the Imperial Golden Fried Rice. This ultimate fried rice grows the legacy that continues even after the sisters have retired. It is so good, in fact, that it has earned a place in Singapore Tourism Board’s Top 10 Singapore Eats and Drinks.
At Chen Fu Ji’s outlets, many innovative signature dishes are created as complementary dishes to be served on a rice-table, with the unique concept of ” kitchen’s four treasures”. Every dish is freshly prepared and specially cooked to each and every customer’s satisfaction.
Each of Chen Fu Ji’s branch also offers its own specialty menu to reflect its unique identity. Enjoy the Dim Sum dishes or just tuck into a bowl of freshly made hand-pulled noodles at Chen Fu Ji Noodle House. Or try the Roti Prata with Chilli Crab at Chen Fu Ji Sing’s Sensation which serving up hawker food with a twist of Asian fusion.

WE RECENTLY (JAN 08) VISITED THE CHEN FU JI OUTLET AT CLARK QUAY MERCHANT ROAD EXPECTING ONE OF THE BEST FRIED RICE IN SINGAPORE. IT WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT. THE $28 SHARKS FIN WAS JUST NORMAL, THE PORK RIB SOUP (BAK KUT TEH) $7+ AS BLEND, THE $25 FRIED RICE WAS HORRID-WHAT CRAB, 3 PRAWNS, CHAR SIEW?
MY RECOMMENDATION??- FORGET ABOUT IT!
