Le’zaat – The Taste of Indonesia offers the best of the best cuisine from Indonesia. It brings a “super delicious” selection of Indonesian dishes, available in Singapore for the first time. Recipes are also modified or creatively invented by the restaurant’s founder to give popular Indonesian cuisine a unique twist.
Whet your appetite with the traditional Indonesian finger food of Lumpia, which is Indonesian fried spring roll filled with jicama, bean sprouts, tofu and dried shrimp. Coconut gravy figures largely throughout Indonesian cuisine, such as in the Opor Ayam, which is chicken in mild white coconut base with special and fragrant herbs – a traditional national favourite. Take a walk on the wild side with the fiery Kangkung Belachan that offers stir-fried young water spinach in spicy red shrimp paste. To wrap things up, try the Indonesian dessert of Pisang Bakar Penyet, which is pan-fried banana served with sweet condensed milk and grated cheese.
