Hjh Maimunah (Hajah Maimunah) has a reputation spanned over 20 years with 2 outlets serving crowds for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A meal at Hjh Maimunah will bring you back to the good old days with their traditional dishes such as Padang Ayam Kalio, tender chicken in savoury gravy; and Ayam Bakar Padang, perfectly grilled chicken. With more than 40 different dishes to offer daily it enjoys wide patronage from the Malay-Muslim crowd and other races as well with its variety of offerings and reasonable prices. With dishes spread among the meats and veggies, from the mild to the spicy, it has every combination to cater to different crowds, tastes and fancies. Using fresh ingredients and concocting its own “patented” recipes among its spice mixes, Hjh Maimunah is clearly one of the most established and reputable players in the local nasi padang fraternity usually enjoying repeated patronage from its customers.

Besides the three dishes shown above, i would definately reccomend the tahu telor as well as the soto ayam. Oh what the heck, it’s all good to me. Just one thing though, it’s not spicy enough if you ask me. Of course, we can’t forget the expats also go there to try the food. Maybe that’s why they tone down the heat a bit

Thats not a way to do business. Most of my local friends and overseas friends also agreed with that. Soon, they will lost a lot of customer
