I feel this is very subjective... I feel that Ang Mo are genarally more open up and humorous than most Singaporeans in terms of meeting with strangers. Imagine that you work in a restaurant. Who would you laugh or joke to? A couple who comes in asking for a table for two or a couple who comes in commenting you're looking great today? Well maybe you can try cracking a joke to the person serving you the next time you step into XINFU or any other restaurant, you would most likely be treated just like an Ang Mo! It is the worst restaurant that I have been. I went there alone and there wasn't any customer in the restaurant. The manager (the China person who stands outside the restaurant) lead me to a seat with very impolite way. He did not offer me anything and his facial expression told me that he is not very welcome of me. Though I did not think much and I thought this is just his character. 15 min laters, 2 ang mo customers walked in. Ah ha, he changed 180 degree, laugh and joke with them. Offer them the best service that he can and is so FAKE! I was so frustated to see that scene. He is the worst 'waiter' that I have met so far! Looking down on locals and praising on ang mo!
