Village Wok is one of the new generation Canton restaurants that serves old Canton village cuisine, where the nightly queue of patrons consistently orders favourites such as Village Fresh Oyster Noodle and the famous Pa-Ting Fish. The owner’s grandparents and ancestors originated some of the Old Canton village recipes featured in the restaurant, so you’re sure to have only authentic food here. Along with their new location come new additions to their menu, such as the Harvest of the Four Seasons, which is an orchestra of the freshest pick from the garden, and the Canton Claypot Pork Stewed in Salted Fish Sauce, which boasts a delightful blend of flavours. A unique feature of this new location is that it is a Sauce Boutique cum Restaurant, that is, their special homemade sauces will be available for sale.

The food at this restaurant are largely sub-standard,with the exception of the black pepper ham which is unique. The restaurant was empty when we visit it on a Saturday evening. This says a lot about the restaurant… Avoid at all cost unless you really have to try the pepper ham
